Battlefield Beta: Release Imminent

We have just picked up from news from the guys at enterbf3.com and from and Ian Tornay (Battlefield 3 community manager) that Battlefield 3 Beta (which is due to be released imminently) will be multiplayer only.

There have been rumours circulating on the web that the Beta would have elements of the new co-op campaign as well as the expected multiplayer. This confusion was in part caused by a release on the PlayStation blog detailing the PS3 Beta release alongside details of new campaign mode features.

The Beta will signal a release of a non-disclosure agreement that was enforced while alpha trials were taking place, which prevented players leaking details about the game. Expect plenty of new Battlefield footage in the next few days on the back of the Beta.

Top 5 Enemies We Would Prefer to See in FPS Games

The cold war was a big thing apparently. The world hung on a knife edge of nuclear oblivion for almost three decades. One of the best exports of this whole debacle was of course the general consensus that for the remainder of time the default nationality for any credible threat to the west would be [...]
